Welcome to the second issue of The GreenLink for 2026, where we highlight the partnerships, policies and people helping to shape a more resilient and sustainable Eastern Caribbean. This issue reflects an important moment of both transition and renewed ambition. As the EU-funded Integrated Landscape Management Project closes, we look at the legacy it leaves across nine OECS Member States, from restored landscapes and strengthened water resources to climate-smart agriculture and improved environmental facilities. We also look ahead to the OECS environmental sustainability agenda for 2026-2027, which places renewed emphasis on climate resilience, sustainable financing, renewable energy, biodiversity conservation, ocean governance and the Blue Economy. These priorities demonstrate the importance of regional cooperation as Small Island Developing States Our oceans also feature prominently, with growing Caribbean support for regional agreements aimed at advancing the 30x30 conservation target and strengthening coordinated ocean governance. Finally, we celebrate the Kalinago people of the Commonwealth of Dominica and their enduring connection to nature. We hope this issue informs, inspires and encourages continued action as together we work towards a greener, more resilient and sustainable OECS for future generations.
